Participation at the ELI Annual Conference and Assembly
Principal researcher, Prof. Dr. Edita Čulinović-Herc, attended the Annual Conference and General Assembly of the European Law Institute (ELI), which was held from 6 to 8 September 2017 in the City Hall of Vienna, Austria. The Conference Programme, through its various panel sessions offered ELI Members and external participants the opportunity to discuss the most important legal issues on the European legal landscape, that are relevant especially for innovative companies. The panels include: Data Economy, Rules and Standards for Online Intermediary, Business and Human Rights: Access to Justice and Effective Remedies, Internet of Things, and a very topical one – Rescue of Business in Insolvency Law. Conference was important meeting point of EU oriented academics and practitioners who, through ELI’s many projects, investigate new-emerging legal concepts and issues.
