International Seminar on tax procedures
On April 27th 2018 Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka hosted the international seminar titled „Tax procedures: a constructive approach to address selected critical issues“. This event was organized within the Croatian Science Foundation project “Legal aspects of corporate acquisitions and Knowledge Driven Companies’ Restructuring”, and in co-operation with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD), Amsterdam. The Seminar gave the general reporter for European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP) Congress 2019, Prof. Dr. Pasquale Pistone, an opportunity to share with the academic community and interested stakeholders the preliminary findings of the research conducted within the framework of the newly formed EATLP working group on tax procedures. Furthermore, the aim of the Seminar was to bring together theoretical and practical perspectives on the fundamental topic of tax procedures. Attendees of the seminar represented various stakeholders, including academic community, judiciary, tax advisors and tax authorities. Program of the seminar is available here.
