Jelena Siminiati is a Legal Affairs and IP Manager at JGL d.d. since 2012. In her professional career, she worked as the Head of Section for EU legislation alignment at the Ministry of Justice, legal adviser on state aid cases with the Croatian Competition Agency, as well as the Head of the Department for financial services, funds and instruments at the Ministry of Finance. She did her internship with the German Federal Ministry of Justice in Berlin. She holds a certificate on Contemporary European Studies from the University of Birmingham, a university degree as a specialist in legal and economic business framework with the EU from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb and a certificate of an Investment Relations Manager from the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Her fields of expertise are IP law, state aid law, commercial law and company law. She is a guest lecturer at the graduate and postgraduate studies of the Faculty of Law of the University of Rijeka.
