Edita Čulinović-Herc is a Full Professor and the Head of the Commercial and Company Law Department at the Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka. From 2011 to 2017 she was the Vice Dean for Science. She is a Co-Director of the Postgraduate Specialist Programme “Corporate Finance Law” at the same Faculty. She is the Principal Investigator within the scientific project “Legal Aspects of Corporate Acquisitions and Knowledge Driven Companies’ Restructuring” approved and funded by the Croatian Science Foundation. From 2007 to 2014 she was the Principal Investigator within the scientific project “Protection of Beneficiary on the Croatian and European Financial Services Market”, approved by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. She is the Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Croatia at the UNCITRAL Working group VI (Security Interest) and a member of the Croatian Audit Public Oversight Committee. She authored a number of papers on company law, legal aspects of capital market and financial services.
