DanijelaDanijela Vrbljanac
is a Senior Assistant at the International and European Private Law Department at the Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka. On 2 December 2016, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rijeka she defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Violations of the Personality Rights on the Internet – International Jurisdiction and Applicable Law”. She received her LL.M. degree in “Law of European Integration” from the same University with her final thesis “International Jurisdiction for Internet Disputes in EU and US Law”. In 2014, she was granted a scholarship for a two-month research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Hamburg. So far, she is the author of several papers in the area of private international law and European private law. She is a member of the Croatian Comparative Law Association and an associate of the Institute of European and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka.
